“I am a firm believer in a holistic approach that considers the physical, spiritual, social, emotional and environmental components that influence your personal growth. Let’s face it; life is hard. Each phase of life poses unique challenges that can take us by surprise and knock us off balance. Problems are magnified when people think no one else shares their struggle or they feel they have to manage it all on their own. I encourage people to seek help early and recognize that they have more to gain by doing so.”
” I view therapy as a partnership where we join together to discover strengths and find solutions to improve you or your loved ones’ overall sense of well-being. I am trained in a wide variety of therapeutic techniques that are helpful in addressing anxiety, depression, relationship or parenting difficulties, attachment difficulties, or the impact of trauma to name a few. Since there is no one else quite like you it is important to take the time to sensitively find the approach that works best for you. My counseling style is relaxed and personable to help you comfortably explore how to move forward and overcome obstacles that inhibit your or your family’s health and happiness.” – Devi Fongers, LMSW, MAAT
