People all too often place themselves at the bottom of a long list of important “To Do’s.” The demands of work, school, partners, friends, kids, and grandkids leave little time for rest and relaxation. As important as those lists are, being at the bottom of the list can leave you feeling exhausted, stressed, prone to illness, sleep deprived, and less able to complete your “To Do” list. It is important for both your physical and mental health that you attend to yourself by prioritizing time for self-care.
This workshop will walk you through simple techniques using mindfulness check-ins, 3-minute specific Gentle Yoga exercises, and Art Therapy tools that will help you to manage daily challenges and maintain a positive sense of well-being each day.
This workshop will be facilitated by Devi Fongers, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Art Therapist and Trauma Sensitive Yoga Instructor.
